By Kinota Braithwaite, Anti-Racism and Anti-Bullying Youth Speaker
Recently, a kind-hearted businessperson all the way from Detroit, USA came across my anti- bullying and anti-racism work in Japan through my posts on Linkedin.
Inspired by my cause to fight bullying and racism through picture books, this business person has generously purchased copies of my anti racism and anti bullying books and has donated these books to a local school in Detroit.
It's a wonderful gesture that will help spread the message of acceptance, kindness, and diversity even further throughout the world beyond the borders of Japan.
How You Can Contribute
If you are as passionate about this cause as we are and would like to contribute, here's how you can help:
Purchase and Donate: You can purchase copies of my books and donate them directly to schools in need. Your direct contribution can make a real difference in the lives of young readers.
My books, "Mio The Beautiful," "Kei The True Friend," and "Mio's Wish," are stories that strive to inspire positive change. They carry essential messages about embracing diversity, standing up against racism, and putting an end to bullying.
Spread the Word: Share this message with friends, family, and colleagues who might be interested in supporting our cause. The more people we reach, the more significant our impact can be.
Free Resources: We understand that financial constraints can sometimes be a barrier to contributing. If this is the case, please consider sharing my free resources: a reading of "Mio The Beautiful" and accompanying worksheets.
By sharing these materials, you can help ensure that our message reaches as many young minds as possible!
By donating these books to schools and sharing our resources, we hope to plant seeds of change that will grow into a more inclusive and compassionate future.
Thank you for your support in spreading these crucial messages through literature. Together, we can create a better world for the next generation.
