By Kinota Braithwaite, Anti-Racism and Anti-Bullying Youth Speaker
For the past three years, my mission has revolved around spreading a message of acceptance through my book "Mio The Beautiful."
Today, I'm thrilled to reintroduce you to a book project that has always been close to my heart but hasn't received the attention it truly deserves: "Kei The True Friend."
In a world where bullying remains a concerning issue, it's crucial that we not only empower those directly affected but also emphasize the role of bystanders. "Kei The True Friend" was created as a valuable resource for educators, caring adults, and children to combat bullying effectively.
Often, it's the children standing by who have the ability to make a real difference, but they may not know how to or may be hesitant for various reasons
.
This book delves into the concept of the "upstander" – someone who takes a stand against bullying and supports those in need. It's a story that highlights the importance of empathy, kindness, and the courage to make a change.
Let's Start a Dialogue:
Principals and Teachers, I extend a heartfelt invitation to engage in open conversations. Together, let's address concerns, exchange ideas, and craft experiences that transcend. Let's embark on a journey to enrich minds and create a lasting positive impact on the lives of students.
Warm regards,
